Here are a few sample photos from Lisa and Derek’s fall engagement session. I first met them earlier this year and knew right away they would be great to work with as they were both easy going and so into each other. We had a great time out and I’m really looking forward to their wedding next summer.
Here are a few of my favourite photos of Jennifer and Aaron’s recent wedding at the Windermere House in Muskoka. Jen and Aaron actually live in Germany but made the trip back home to have a small intimate wedding with close friends and family, and I’m so glad they did. It was an awesome fall day, a little cool but great to look back on now.
Thankfully these days communicating with couples across the world is much easier thanks to Skype. Even though we didn’t have an engagement session due to the lack of time, I immediately felt comfortable with both of them. The reason for this I think is simple, when you see how the look at each other it says a lot.
This past weekend I had the chance to be part of Tricia and Mike’s wedding. With weddings in our area you can never be certain of the weather, especially at this time of year and unfortunately it rained – pretty much the entire day. For sure it was disappointing for all but Tricia and Mike we absolutely great to work with and were so positive the entire time.
Thank you to everyone involved who helped make their day a success and thanks again to Tricia and Mike for having me there. I wish you guys all the best and hope you have a great honeymoon! Here are a few of my favourite details and portraits from their day.
The beautiful fall colours only seem to last to couple of weeks at this time of year and for this session with Jenn and Chris we were lucky to capture some of it. It was so great to work with them both as they were so much fun and so willing to try a new location. Here are a few sample images from the session and I can’t wait for their wedding next year.
The last couple of weeks have been hit or miss with all the rain but some things are worth the wait. I think we rescheduled a few times but finally got a great day at the Guildwood Park in Scarborough.
I first met Heather and Travis couple of years ago when I photographed her brothers wedding and , and I can’t believe how time has flown by and now they’re engaged. Heather and Travis were so fun to be with and I’m really looking forward to their wedding next year. Here are a few sample images from their session.
Here are a few images from a wedding last week with Sarah and Darrell. They held the ceremony and reception at the scenic Trillium Trails in Oshawa. Due to the timelines, we decided to do the photo session with Sarah and Darrell before the ceremony which definitely goes against the norm in this area. Having said that, it’s by far one of the best experiences as you’re not so rushed after the ceremony and you get much more time to spend with your family and friends.
Congrats again to Sarah and Darrell and thanks so much for allowing me to be there with you.
Where does the time go? It seems like just the other day Stephanie contacted me from Calgary to start planning their wedding back here in Orono but it was almost two years ago! I finally had a chance to join them for their wedding day last weekend and it turned out to be a great time with a small group of their family and friends.
To Stephanie and Dan, thanks so much for having me as your wedding photographer and I wish you both all the best! Here are a few sample photos from their day and check back soon for their wedding day slideshow.
