Over the past month or so I’ve seen a huge increase in the amount of junk email that I’ve been receiving and while I like to have a full inbox I’m getting a little tired of the messages urging me to buy this or that. As a result, I’ve been working with my host provider to try and block most if not all of the junk messages.

This leads me to the bigger issue of spam and email filters in general. There may be instances where you may send me a message from your Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo mail account and I may never receive it. It may get inadvertently blocked and would never know. Likewise, I may send you an email and it may end up in your spam or junk mail folder. Now I promise that I’m not sending out spam messages, but please do check your junk or spam folder from time to time.

Bottom line is that if you’ve sent me an email and you don’t get a reply back within 24 hours, something is wrong. Unless I’m away for the day shooting or on personal business, I almost always respond to an email within a few hours, if not sooner.
