Toolbars everywhere

March 31, 2008

It seems lately that a lot of software companies, service providers and various websites want you to install their “toolbar” into your web browser to enhance your browsing experience. This is great for some and a nuisance for many. The main downside is that all of those toolbars take up a lot of screen space mainly at the top of your browser and what you end up with is a narrow band of actual content.

When you are looking at a web page in your web browser, you may hide all the toolbars at the top of the screen and see the whole page by pressing the F11 key. In Internet Explorer, you also can go to the dropdown menu view and click on “Full Screen.” To go back to the way your screen was, press the F11 again.

When you are viewing my main website at MJP Photography,
please keep this in mind.

Thanks

Sweet baby!

As you may have noticed I’ve made a few changes to the Blog, most importantly is the photo size. This site will be a showcase for all of my latest work, and I like seeing the larger images, and I think you will too.

Here are some of my favourite photos from a recent session with Margaret and Glenn’s baby girl. I’m not sure if it’s the time of year, but she almost slept through the entire session. I don’t think we’ll be that lucky for her next session, but that’s Ok, I don’t mind if she gives me a hard time.

Congrats again to Mom, Dad and family.

Enjoy,

Comments anyone?

March 22, 2008

For those of you new to blogging you may not be aware that you can leave comments on a particular post. At the end of each post you will see the word “comments”. Click on this link and it will allow you to leave me a message. Feel free to let me know what you think about that post or what you think about the photos.

Of course commenting isn’t for everyone, and some will still choose to remain anonymous, and that’s fine too.

Thanks again,

Mike

Baby on the way

March 13, 2008

Well it has been crazy outside but at least it’s still warm inside! A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of working with Stephanie and Jeff who are expecting soon. They were both super laid back and we had a nice relaxed session and tried a variety of different poses and lighting styles.

I really enjoy the maternity sessions as it’s always amazing to see the “before and after”. Check back in the coming weeks for the newborn photos.

Check out the maternity gallery section on my main website for more samples of maternity photos.

Enjoy,

Not again!

March 8, 2008

Well we got blasted again today with no end in sight. I’m starting to worry that the outdoor sessions I have planned for next month might have to be rescheduled. Who knows, maybe we’ll have a heat wave next week, and I’ll wake up to green grass!

You all know how much I love shovelling snow, so I decided to make the best of it this afternoon and enlist the help of my little guy. You didn’t really think I’d let him off easy did you?

Enjoy,

Enough snow already!

March 5, 2008

Ok seriously, who ordered all the snow?
I don’t know about you, but I’m sick of shoveling, scraping, and seeing snow.

I know what you’re thinking..when it’s 30 degrees he’ll be complaining that it’s too hot. No way, I’ll gladly take hot, over snow and cold.

Ok rant over.

thank you

Mike
