People often ask me what to expect from a newborn session, and my answer is always “you never know”! Any parent will tell you that every baby is different and being so young they’ve already had a couple of eventful first weeks of life, so it’s completely understandable that they might be a little moody during the session. I mean how would you feel if someone stripped you down to your diaper and took photos of you? 
In the end it all works out and I always want the parents and baby to be as relaxed as possible and to take as many breaks as they or the baby need.
Here are some of my favourite photos from a recent baby session. Even though he wasn’t feeling that well during the session, Mom and Dad were relaxed and hung in there. I’m looking forward to seeing more of him as he grows over the next year.
